The shift is being driven by three factors. First, EPP parts can be reused across many shipping cycles without losing protective performance, which matters for high-value electronics and medical devices that move between contract manufacturers and end customers. Second, EPP is fully recyclable at end of life, helping brands hit packaging-waste targets. Third, EPP mouldings can be tuned to absorb specific impact profiles, which gives packaging engineers much more design freedom than they get from cut or moulded EPS.
Bainuo's EPP moulds are already used to make returnable inserts for laptop and tablet shipments, custom trays for diagnostic-equipment OEMs, and reusable dunnage for transmission and engine components moving between Asian assembly plants and European final-assembly lines.
The trend lines up with what major logistics and consumer-electronics brands have been saying for several years: single-trip protective foam is on the way out, and engineered, moulded EPP is taking its place. Bainuo's plant in Rugao has been expanding its EPP mould output year over year to keep up.
